Funeral Director Barry Normington recently visited a Wakefield Hawks under 11s Rugby team match to present the man of the match with a certificate and trophy.
The team trains at Sandal Rugby club every Saturday and train at Wakefield Thornes park, Wakefield across from Wakefield Funeral Services every Tuesday and actively support local good causes.
Barry said: “I am deeply involved with having a grandson play for the team. I asked if they had a trophy and I was told no, I asked if they would let me get one for them and they replied yes that would be really nice and something for the player to enjoy getting. I have also told them that I will get the end of year medals for the player.”
