Here at Wakefield Funeral Services we also offer a prepaid funeral plan, Choice, so that you can arrange and pay for a funeral in advance.

Funeral Arranger
Joan joined Wakefield Funeral Services in 2007 but has been working in the industry since 1992 having previously worked for Co-Operative Funeral Care.
Joan takes great pride in her work and particularly likes being able to help people when they are feeling unable to cope with their loss, patiently listening to what they would like for their loved ones funeral and taking away as much stress as possible.
Joan regularly helps to raise money for local causes and one in particular that stands out for her is a charity called Levi’s Star that helps families financially when they have a child diagnosed with cancer.
She also raises money by crocheting poppies for the Royal British Legion and making hats for premature babies.
